The app decides every dispute and credits back to your payout the ones it accepts.

Works with your reports from DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub and ezCater. On a phone, a screenshot works too.

The clock

DoorDash gives you 14 days to dispute a charge. Most owners never look.

Each app sets its own window, drawn to scale below. Miss it and the charge stays, whatever happened in the kitchen.

How it works

Download one report, upload it, and see where you stand.

  1. Download your report

Two minutes in your delivery app, on a computer. The steps for each app are in the free check below.

  2. Upload it here

We go through every charge and show you which ones may be worth disputing, which are too small, and which you've already lost to the deadline. Free.

  3. Submit the disputes

Want the wording done for you? Unlock copy-ready dispute text for Uber Eats, Grubhub and ezCater, and for DoorDash, which items to tick and which reason to choose. You submit them yourself, in your own account.

  4. Get it credited back

When the app accepts a dispute, the charge is credited back to your payout. Upload your next report from your result page and we'll mark which disputes came back and which were turned down.

The wall that holds, and the one brick worth a look. That's the whole job: check every charge, point at the one worth your time.

By hand or with unComped

Finding the charge in time is most of the work.

$99.04taken back across seven orders in our sample DoorDash month. Made up, like every sample on this site, but that's the size of it.

By hand

You scroll a long report, charge by charge. You work out which ones are worth your time, count the days yourself against a different window for each app, and write every dispute from scratch, usually during service.

With unComped

You upload the report once. Every charge gets a verdict. The too-small and past-deadline ones are set aside, each one shows the days left in its app's window, and the ones worth it come with copy-ready dispute text you paste into the app yourself.

Pricing

How we work

We never ask for your passwords.

Some services want to log into your DoorDash or Uber Eats account. That breaks the apps' rules and can put your account at risk. unComped only reads the report you choose to send us.

  • You submit every dispute yourself.
  • No subscription, no contract.
  • No promised amounts.

On your phone? The apps only let you download reports on a computer. Instead, take a screenshot of the page in the app that lists your error charges (DoorDash: Financials, then Transactions; Uber Eats: Orders; Grubhub: Financials, then Transactions) and upload it in step 3. ezCater needs the report file, from a computer.

Open DoorDash Merchant Open Uber Eats Manager Open Grubhub for Restaurants Opens the app or its website. Then go to the page named above and take your screenshot.

Questions

Before you upload.

Is the check really free?

Yes. The check is free for good, not a trial. You pay only if you want the dispute text for a report, and only for that report. There's no account to make and nothing to cancel.

Do you need my DoorDash, Uber Eats or Grubhub login?

No, never. You download the report from your own account and upload the file here. We never ask for passwords and never touch your accounts, so nothing here can put your account at risk.

What is an error charge?

When a customer reports a missing item, a wrong order or a problem with the food, the app can take the cost out of your next payout. The apps call these error charges or adjustments. Each one can be disputed, but only for a short time: 14 days on DoorDash, 30 on Uber Eats and Grubhub, 45 on ezCater.

Will I get the money back?

When the app accepts a dispute, the charge is credited back to your payout. We can't say which ones it will accept, and we don't promise amounts: the app decides every dispute. What unComped does is show you which charges may be worth disputing and how many days you have left, so your time goes on the ones with a case. Upload your next report from your result page and we'll mark which ones came back.

Do you submit the disputes for me?

No. You submit every dispute yourself, in your own account, which keeps you in control and inside the apps' rules. When you unlock a report you get copy-ready dispute text for Uber Eats, Grubhub and ezCater, and for DoorDash, which items to tick and which reason to pick.

What happens to my report?

It's stored privately, used only to check your charges, and deleted after 90 days. The check never reads customer names, phone numbers or addresses, and running a check never adds you to a mailing list. The details are in our privacy notice.

I'm on my phone. Can I still run the check?

The apps only let you download reports on a computer. On a phone, take a screenshot of the page in the app that lists your error charges and upload that instead. ezCater needs the report file, from a computer.

I'm a bookkeeper. Can I use this for clients?

Yes. Run a client's delivery report through the free check to see which charges may be worth disputing before the window closes. Each report is its own check, and the result link is private to whoever has it.

What if the unlock wasn't worth it?

Email hello@getuncomped.com within 30 days and you get a full refund, no reason needed.

What's next Coming soon

The check is just the start.

Disputing wins back part of a charge, sometimes. Stopping the mistake saves all of it. Here's what we're building next for owners who want this handled every week.

  • Weekly tracking

Every charge from every app in one place, without starting from scratch each time.

  • A fix-it list

The items and shifts that keep causing charges, so you can fix them in the kitchen.

  • Deadline alerts

    A heads-up before a dispute window closes.

  • A payout audit

Everything the apps take from your payout, not just error charges.
